Lion of JudahVoor meest dedicated donateur
During the HODE, the annual evening for our honored donors, on November 15th the Women’s Division was very proud to present the Lion of Judah to Mrs. Naomi Livnat-Vermeer. She is one of the most dedicated donors of the Women’s Division.
Naomi received the Lion of Judah as a recognition of her deep commitment to Israel and to the Jewish people. “I am raised in a family where there are a few principles that are our guidelines. The State of Israel is for us Jews our homeland and we have a strong connection to our history, our land and the people in it. The notion of tikkun olam starts close to home. Help your family, neighbors and friends and help those who need it in Israel. We are one nation and one people”.
Quote is from Naomi’s acceptance speech
Naomi is married to Rob Vermeer, they have 3 sons, with one more on the way.
The Lion of Judah was adopted by the Keren Hayesod International Women’s Division as a symbol of courage, strength, and impact of Jewish women who are motivated by a sense of duty to the Jewish State and Jewish community.
